Jane Goodall’s famous Gombe Chimpanzee family. I was lucky enough to have a friend travel to the Gombe National Park on a safari with Jane Goodall and I thank him for the reference photos of the Chimpanzees pictured here. Jane Goodall has through her life supported conservation, and was a leader in Primate observations. In later years Jane shifted from scientist to conservationist and activistafter attending a primatology conference in 1986.
